About Us

This is just a little insight into how I became an Equipment Installer for the physically challenged. I attended a Ricon School, which taught me how to install mobility lifts and their modifications, at the request of a former employer back in 1993. I then moved to Florida to assist him in his Adaptive business. I blossomed from there and ran operations for over 11 years. I did 90% of all installation applications, as well as the majority of evaluations and sales. At the end of 2004 we parted and went off to do different business ventures. So I branched out and here I am doing what I love to do.

Access By Skip has become QAP, certified by NMEDA!
The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized NMEDA Dealer accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. The purpose of the program is to ensure the products and services provided by Quality Assurance Program (QAP) Dealers meet or exceed customer needs and current government safety requirements. It is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality. The program was developed to elevate the level of dealer performance to reliably meet consumers’ transportation needs in the safest manner possible.
The QAP designation is indicative of enhanced vehicle modification and adaptive equipment installation consistent with the highest standards available in the industry. Dealers are required to follow guidelines written in accordance with motor vehicle safety standards, a professionally managed dynamic and static testing program and proven quality control practices that advocate the highest level of performance and safety.
